In 1994, we were two art grads
on a cross-country bike trip.
The only thing that got us more excited than HOT SHOWERS were the diverse MURALS the small-town locals displayed to share their stories. When we got back to D.C., we used that inspiration to form Schwa Design Group. Jarrett leapt into his first mural, a 150-foot-wide by 23-foot- high behemoth. Jodi set to work telling stories through logos, letterhead and brochures.

Jarrett Ferrier graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Miami University with an emphasis on printmaking and early education. As co-owner of Schwa Design Group, Jarrett creates murals and dynamic signage for corporate offices, restaurants, hospitals and residences. Each piece is one of a kind. Jarrett is an active member of the Glover Park community and former president of the Glover Park Citizens Association.
Jodi Kolker Ferrier graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Miami University with an emphasis on graphics and painting. As co-owner of Schwa Design Group, Jodi designs logos, business cards, and creates websites for small entrepreneurs using Wordpress and Squarespace. She provides maintenance of websites as well as training to clients who wish to maintain their own websites. Jodi holds down the fort.
